Returns Policy for Calm Cove Kids

Our Commitment
At Calm Cove Kids, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality sensory products. We understand that sometimes a product may not be right, and we are here to help. This policy outlines your rights and our responsibilities regarding returns and refunds, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Change of Mind
Please choose your products carefully. Due to the nature of our sensory products, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges for change of mind. This is for hygiene and safety reasons, to ensure that all our customers receive products in a new and unused condition.
Consumer Guarantees - Faulty or Damaged Products
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if a product you purchase from us is faulty, damaged, not of acceptable quality, or does not match its description. This is what we call a “major failure”.
If you believe you have received a product with a major failure, you are entitled to your choice of a:
•Refund: A full refund of the purchase price.
•Replacement: A replacement with an identical product, or a product of similar value if the original is not available.
For a “minor failure”, we may offer to repair the item within a reasonable time, or offer you a replacement or refund.
How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return for a faulty or damaged product, please follow these steps:
1.Contact Us: Please contact us within a reasonable time of receiving your order by emailing hello@calmcovekids.com.au. Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the faulty or damaged product.
2.Assessment: We will assess your return request. We may require you to return the product to us for assessment.
3.Return Authorisation: If your return is approved, we will provide you with a return authorisation and instructions on how to return the product to us.
Return Shipping Costs
If a product is determined to have a major failure, we will cover the cost of return shipping. We will provide you with a prepaid shipping label or reimburse you for reasonable return shipping costs. Please keep a copy of your shipping receipt.
For change of mind returns (which we do not offer), the customer would be responsible for return shipping costs.
Processing Refunds
Once we have received and inspected the returned product, we will process your refund or replacement. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear in your account.
