Ordering & Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal. All payments are processed securely through our checkout system. Please note we do not currently accept American Express or Afterpay.
Can I use my NDIS funding to purchase sensory products?
Yes! We can provide a tax invoice for your purchase. If you are a Self-Managed or Plan-Managed NDIS participant, you can use this invoice to claim reimbursement from your Plan Manager or through the NDIS portal. Please note that we are not a registered NDIS provider, and we require payment upfront before your order is dispatched.
Do you offer a discount for first-time customers?
Yes! We offer a welcome discount for your first order. Sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of this page to receive your code.
Shipping & Delivery
How much does shipping cost?
We like to keep things simple:
- For orders under $70, shipping is a flat rate of $11.00.
- For orders $70 and over, shipping is FREE.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We aim to dispatch all orders promptly. Most orders are delivered within 5–10 business days via Australia Post or our trusted courier partners. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, Calm Cove Kids only ships within Australia.
What happens if an item is out of stock?
If a product is temporarily out of stock, it will be clearly marked on the website. In rare cases where an item is delayed, our team will contact you directly to advise you of the expected dispatch date.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your returns policy?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you change your mind, you have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a refund or exchange, provided the item is returned in its original, saleable condition with proof of purchase.
Please note:
- Sale items are not eligible for a refund.
- The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
- For hygiene reasons, certain items (like chewable jewelry) cannot be returned once opened.

What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
We ensure all our products are of the highest standard before they leave our warehouse. However, if your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, we will repair, replace, or refund it. Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the faulty item by emailing hello@calmcovekids.com.au with photos of the damage.

Are your sensory toys safe?
Absolutely. We partner with trusted Australian suppliers to ensure all our products meet strict safety standards. However, we strongly recommend adult supervision, especially for younger children or those who tend to mouth objects. Always check the age recommendations and safety warnings on individual product pages.
How do I know which sensory tool is right for my child?
Every child is unique! We've organised our store by need (e.g., Calming, Focus, Movement) to help you find the right tools. We also recommend consulting with your child's Occupational Therapist or healthcare professional for personalised advice, especially for higher-risk items like weighted products.
