Our Story: From One Parent to Another

Welcome to Calm Cove Kids. My name is Matt. I'm a single dad, and I understand what it's like when your child needs a little extra support to navigate the world.

Like many parents, my journey into the world of sensory products didn't start with a business plan—it started with my own kids. I saw firsthand the challenges of sensory overload, the need for calming spaces, and the difference that the right tools could make in a child's day. As someone who understands neurodivergence firsthand, I know how crucial it is to find tools that actually work.

But as I started looking for these tools, I hit a wall. I found myself scrolling through sterile, clinical websites that felt more like hospital supply catalogs than places designed for children. I was frustrated by the lack of clear information, the high prices, and the overwhelming amount of choices without any real guidance.

I knew there had to be a better way. I wanted to create a space that felt welcoming, not clinical. A place where parents, educators, and therapists could find high-quality, carefully selected sensory tools without the stress.

That's how Calm Cove Kids was born.
